SDI was responsible for delivering the complete MRI suite, including demolition, construction, and the installation of all technical infrastructure required for MRI operation. This included designing and installing the RF and magnetic shielding, integrating mechanical, electrical, and safety systems, and ensuring full compliance with hospital and building codes. We also constructed all adjoining spaces—control room, scan room, waiting and changing areas—and executed the child-friendly, accessible interior design developed by the project’s architects and designers. In short, SDI delivered a fully functional, code-compliant, accessible MRI environment ready for clinical and research use that presented a child-friendly atmosphere.
